May saysay ba na sulatan ang bulag,
awitan ang bingi,
at kilitiin sa tagiliran ang manhid?
Wala.
Pero kung hindi susubukan pa’no malalaman
kung ang mga kapansanan ay gawa-gawa lamang
at nagtatago ang panlilinlang sa belo ng kahinaan at kapayapaan.
Panlilinlang na parang tali,
pisi na manipis pa sa sapot ng gagambang tuso―
nakahabi at talamak sa mga distrito.
Oo, hawak nila tayo sa leeg,
nangingikil, namum’wersa sa mga paraang ‘di natin nadarama.
Ngunit tayo mismo,
tayo ang nag-abot ng lubid sa mga mambibitay.
